Dragon Ball New Generation
The Ii-Shenron Saga

Chapter 16 - Raise Up

"Isn't that fantastic news?" Dende laughed, "Supreme Kai never ceases to
amaze me. If he and the elder Kai can raise their power levels, maybe
they can stand a chance against Ii."
Shin Piccolo walked to the side of the Lookout, staring down onto the
Earth. It was good. He was happy, yet he was still troubled. He heard
the conversation between Dende and Kaioshin about his plans, but he also
agreed with what young Vegeta Jr said. It was leaving Earth undefended.
Yeah, Linni, Pastri and Hazell were present, but they are no match for Ii
if he shows up. He even knew that he couldn't stand a chance. Mr Popo
walked up to the two, holding a watering can.
"I feel I agree with Piccolo Dende. It does put us at risk."
"But we will have to take that risk Popo. They are our only hope."
"Then let me train in the room of time and spirit." Piccolo said to the
two, "If Gokou and the others are training, let me too. I maybe be the
only chance if Ii does turn up!"
Popo and Dende agreed with this, but they had never let Piccolo into the
room of time and spirit. They had only told him what the room was. The
two led Piccolo to the door.
"Remember Piccolo, if you want to come out, do so. But don't stay in
their for more than a day."
"For me its a full year right?"
"Yes," Popo said as he opened the door, "Good luck!"
***
Ii-Shenron was flying around space. He was looking for the young fighters
without any luck. He couldn't trace any energy patterns. Ii had
destroyed civilizations trying to find them, so it stops them hiding on
the planet in future.
"Where are those darn kids?"
On the Supreme Kai planet, each of the boys were undertaking extensive
training. There were two rip dimensions on the planet, which Nion was in
and G entered the other. Nion only stayed in for a while, and came
outside so Vegeta could enter. Gokou was training outside, while Kaioshin
agreed to teach Nion some new moves. Gokun was undertaking training under
elder Kai, which he took pretty well. He sat still concentrating as Old
Kai performed the ritual. The same one he used on Gohan many years ago.
Kaioshin was exchanging some punches, while Nion was maneuvering them.
She wasn't very fast, and got hit twice. Her arm was hurting her, and
Kaioshin told her that she might have to stop.
"I can keep going. I want to help too!"
To the man's amazement, the little girl stood up and took her position
again. Kaioshin began kicking her, and she moved around better before she
was able to land a successful punch into the Kai's stomach. He was
surprised, yet remembering he wasn't trying either.
Gokou sat down to relax a bit. He had been training four hours straight.
He had never done that before, and he knew his grandmother would be proud
of him. But he had to train. He had to protect his family. Gokou
relaxed his body and mind before emerging himself into a deep meditation.

On Earth, Bobulla and Pan were listening to the distressing news from the
three girls.
"Ii-Shenron?" Pan said shockingly, "How could he still be alive?"
"We don't know." Pastri said, "But Grandma, didn't you tell me and Gokou
about Ii before?"
The others looked at Pan in stunning amazement.
"Is that true?" Bobulla asked.
"Yes, but he was defeated years ago by my grandfather Gokou. So how could
he return again?"
The girls all wondered.
"But what about the boys? and Nion?" Bobulla asked desperately.
"We don't know."
There was a minute silence before they heard a voice. It was Dende. He
explained to them the situation, and where the boys and Nion were. They
were happy about the news, till Dende mentioned that it left Earth opened
for attack.
"Then we'll have to protect Earth till they get back." Hazell said.
The two girls agreed. Dende continued, telling them that Piccolo was
still on Earth, training on the Lookout. He can help them. When they
mentioned the problem about time of training, Dende told them about the
Room of Time and Spirit. The girls were pretty surprised a room such as
that even existed.
"Will our power and Piccolo's be enough?" Linni asked.
"I know!" Hazell exclaimed, "My ancestor can help. She's plenty strong!
She'll love to help."
And that was that. Hazell flew home to tell her ancestor the news, before
going to the Lookout to train. Linni and Pastri headed there first, and
trained outside while they waited for Piccolo to exit the room. Bobulla
and Pan remained at Capsule Corporation.
***
In the centre of Satan City, Hazell was at home. The home was a large
mansion surrounded by beautiful gardens. Hazell stood before her ancestor
who was drinking some expensive wine.
"Come on. We need your help. I need your help!" Hazell whined.
The woman held her cup, swirling the liquid side to side. She was
thinking.
"The enemy is strong, and we can't do it on our own." Hazell continued.
The woman placed her cup down onto a nearby table and stood up. She
flicked her hair aside, and walked to a large window. It was a nice view
of the city.
"Its a crazy idea fighting Ii-Shenron Hazell. I remember the last time he
was around. It wasn't pretty. Kuririn died around that time...against
your part uncle."
"Yeah I know. You told me before. Better reason why you have to help us.
You stood up to him!"
"I know that. Okay then, I will. Lets head to that Room you told me
about. I haven't seen that Look Out for quite a long time."
Hazell giggled, as both of them walked off.
"You know Hazell, you're lucky I'm alive."
"I know."
***
Pastri and Linni were having a quick meal before resuming training when
Hazell descended from the sky, followed by her ancestor.
"Its about time you're here." Linni joked.
Dende and Popo came outside, and were shocked at the sight.
Hazell smiled and willingly introduced her ancestor to her friends. Linni
smiled, and Pastri waved. Before she was introduced to Dende and Popo,
the Namek cried:
"Android 18!"
Sure enough it was. The android smiled. She remembered their faces.
Hazell was surprised.
"Hey, they know you're name before I introduced you."
"They know who I am, and I know them."
"Really?"
Dende walked forward and looked at the woman. She looked exactly the
same, The only difference was the hair style.
"You still are..um..." Dende muttered.
"Alive?" 18 finished for him.
"Yes."
"I'm half mechanical. Because Gero did that to me, I don't age and don't
die naturally like humans."
Linni and Pastri were wowed. Hazell just smiled.
"I'm here to train too. Hazell told me the situation." 18 told them.
Popo pointed to the room of time and spirit.
"Piccolo is still inside. He will be coming out in a few more hours."
"What? Did you say Piccolo?" 18 asked.
"Yes, but its not the same Piccolo 18. It's his offspring."
"Are you for real?"
"Long story." Dende laughed.
For the next few days, they all trained for long hours. After Piccolo
exited, he was amazed to see the girls present. He had become much more
powerful than before. Linni then entered the room with Pastri because 18
and Hazell were going in together. 18 was Hazell's trainer.
"The more help the better." Piccolo laughed.
Dende and Popo couldn't believe how much the Namek had aged. He was
beginning to look like his father.
"But what about Vegeta said? I still don't think it we will be enough
against Ii."
"I understand Piccolo, but we don't know anyone else. Besides us, their
are only normal humans who can only scream when something attacks them."
Dende told him. He was never that blunt, but Piccolo had mentioned the
problem so many times, he was starting to grow tired of it. That was
unusual for him.
"That's crazy talk. There have to be others. We just have to find them."
Piccolo said. He paced back and forth before a thought over took his
mind. It made him brighten in delight. Piccolo powered up and flew off.
"Where are you off too?" 18 called.
"Some business."
And with that, Piccolo was gone.
